Trading CryptoCurrency in Malaysia.

There are many platform available for trade among different types of CryptCurrency / Coins, for example, BitCoin, Ethereum, Ripples, Dash Coin, LiteCoin, Tron, Neo, etc. However, to get started to trade, you need to at least have some coins. Buying Crypto currency (Bitcoin, Ethereum) in Malaysia

Due to the price spike for Bitcoin last year (2017), it attracted a lots of eyeball to eyes on crypto currency like BitCoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dash Coin, Lite Coin, etc. As a IT profession that involve very much into IT world, I've been ask by many friend on CryptoCurrency and therefore, started to do some research on it.

As a Malaysian, I found that it's not that straight forward for Malaysia to buy CryptoCurrency. In fact there is less platform available for us. Following are the 2 platform that's available for us to buy CryptoCurrency :

Luno. Another Platform to buying coin, but not available to deposit for Malaysia at the moment.

However, referring to the above platform, we can only buy BitCoin (BTC) and Etherem (ETH) at the moment, to buy / trade others coin like Ripples, Tron, NEO, etc, there are still some steps need to be carry out which i am going to share in another post :

Alternative Solution for Homily Charting Tool Bug

I just notice that this doesn't happen to me alone, that after you inserted some text into the Homily Charting Tools and Save it, the chart will turn out like following:

Therefore, i would like to share out a small tool to help me resolve the problem. Just follow the following instructions :

1. download the following file (fix.exe) and save it in your "Homily Software folder\xg1\lne", for example "C:\Program Files\Homily Software\xg1\lne"

Down fix tools here. password : 4e94

2. You may want to create a shortcut for the file fix.exe in your desktop.

3. That's it, every time you have this kind of black candles, just double click at fix.exe in your desktop.

4. Wolah... the chart can be display correctly now as following :

firehawk 兄给了我这个很新鲜的idea，其实我一路都不知道有酱紫的一个方法存在。

大家有时候选了一个好股，又不懂如何操作，什么时候应该买进什么时候应该卖出，要买多少要卖多少才平衡。当然，平时我是看股价的均线，但这个还是有点满足不了。传统的投资法，有Dollar Cost Averaging (定期定投)，结果大跌的时候跟着越买越低，大起的时候跟着越买越贵。

这里AIM是有个方程式，起后会建议你小卖，以保住涨幅；跌的话会建议你分批买入以拉底平均价。所以你的操作不总是买入，还有卖出！

假设你有10千为本，这个将成为你的参考点，AIM内称之为 “portfolio control”。接着用你持股的市值的+/- 10%来看到底操作是要买还是卖。

这里的例子，你用了10千来买股。假设你是每个月观察股市一次，

Example1, Selling:
Starting point (Portfolio Control)= 10,000
Value when next checked = $14,000 （距离之前买入的时候，你的股已经从10千起到14千了）
First add 1400 to 10,000 to equal 11400. （14,000的10% = 1400，加去你的本10,000 = 11400）
Next subtract 14,000 from 11,400 
which equals = ($2600).  (这样算出你应该套现 2600，意思说这个超过10%以上的赚幅就先变成cash以等待下一次买入点的操作)
That's how much AIM would want you to sell of your position.

Example 2, Buying:
Portfolio Control = 10,000
Value when next checked = $7500 （距离上次买进，你发现你的股已经从10千跌到7千5了！）
First add 750 to the $7500 to equal 8250. （七千五的10%是七百五，加起来 = 8250）
Next subtract 8250 from 10,000 
which equals = +$1750. （这个算出 建议你买入 1750 元的股来降低成本价）
That's how much more stock AIM would want you to buy at that value.

凡是做出买入的动作，就要把 purchase price的一半加去portfolio control，这个情况 1750/2 + 10000 = 10875
所以下一个操作的参考就是参考 10875 了。因为这个数额变大了（也意识你成本提升），所以下次你的股要起更多才会到你卖出点；同样的股价跌的时候你要花更多钱来补仓拉底成本！

这里附上excel template，作者有放出他1994～1996年的操作： http://www.aim-users.com/aimware.htm 这个作者选出的股，是个“high beta”股，波动相当大。 这里解释下大概每一行做的东西：(作者拿出10千作为本钱，也设置市值 起的话10%为卖出点，跌的话5%为补货点。操作的时候最少买卖100unit，或价值500块的分量) 第28行，成本7千块，买了1000股，留下3000 cash （portfolio control = 7000 参考值） 第31行，股价=7.50，市值7500。 比起参考值，赚了500，但还未超过 10% （750）的卖出点，所以作者没有任何操作 第34行，股价=8.50，市值8500。赚了1500，超过了10%（850）的卖出点。 应该套现1500-850 = 650 但作者仍没有任何操作，因为650只能买到大概76unit，不符合他的需求。 第35行，股价=9.38，市值9380。赚了2380，超过了10%（938）的卖出点。 应该套现2380-938 = 1442 作者决定化零为整，卖出150股，套出现金 1407块 那么他的现金3000+1407 = 4407 持股从1000股变成850股 参考数仍然是7000不变 第39和42行，作者仍然卖出套现，减持至450股。 第54行，股价从高点滑下来了，股价 11.13，市值5009，比起参考价7000，低了1992。低过了5%买入点 （251） 应该购入1992-251 = 1741 作者即刻花了 1670 买入了 150股 参考值 从 7000 + （1670/2） = 7835 就这样操作，两年后， 他现金有6177，持有股=1100股。 意思说投入成本 10000 - 6177 = 3823 元，他却持有1100股。 每股成本 3.475。最后那天股价 10.88。 意思说，他让成本拉到很低。。这个是低买高卖的成果。 这种操作，论坛会员--K男--教过我，【“大V攻略”】。 逢低买入，逢高套现。 这里有了方程式，判断买入卖出点更得心应手！ 我拿genting从 2007年5月到2010年2月尾的价钱放进去， 开始买7.90 x 1000股 开始 遵守指令操作的话， 两年多到今天的每股成本= 4块。 我拿pbb从 2007年5月到2010年2月尾的价钱放进去， 开始买7.75 x 1000股 开始 遵守指令操作的话， 两年多到今天的每股成本= 6.40.

Just applied a HLe-Broking account recently and received a call just now from the Hong Leong agent to confirm my application. She is a very nice girl with beautiful voice and explain to me some of the features using the HLe-Broking. Here are some of the interesting features she told me:

1. brokerage fees for HLe-Broking is 0.42% / RM12 for internet transaction and phone transaction as well. The minimum charge is much more lower than other brokerage firm which is around 0.42% / RM28 for internet transaction and 0.60% / RM60 for phone transaction. This is a good news for me as a small investor, as this is going to reduce my break even point when buying a share.

2. Beside the above mentioned feature, she also mentioned that HLe-Broking offer zero moving cost for my shares from my existing CDS account with another brokerage firm to HLe-Broking account. Any charges from another brokerage firm will be reimburse to my HLe-Broking Account. Which mean i can save up to 57% for brokerage fees when i want to sell my existing share.

For me, trading shares frequently with few hundred ringgit of profit, saving RM32 on every buy and sell transaction can mean a very handsome saving for me. Hope that it's for you too......
