Involve in some work that require me to record down some screen and voice together recently. As normally, i want it to be done FREE, F.O.C. Therefore, has google around and tried some of the free software around. Finally i found this working fine for me. It may help you too in some ways :
Following are some of the setting i am currently using. With these setting i found that recording 1 hours 20 minutes of video+audio cost me around 360MB of harddisk space only and i found out that the quality is acceptable for me. Maybe you can try these too. :P
